Want To Read Others’ Thoughts? Try Reading Literary Fiction

I thought this NPR article was interesting. I’m glad they didn’t discount other forms of writing, like popular fiction since they tends to turn people away. It’s also always good to hear that there is empirical evidence that reading is good for you. Many people need proof that the arts are even worth keeping in our schools and here is some evidence of its importance.
